Chas TALKED!

"Now to him who is able to do IMMEASURABLY MORE than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
Ephesians 3:21-22

This whole past week has been nothing but a MIRACLE! Chas has made leaps and bounds... he has learned to eat, sit up, is trying to walk (with lots of help)... and he even got to be wheeled to Starbucks to get a smoothie!

Then this morning... my brother was with him and he said, "Chas take a deep breath in and try and say, Dad" ... well he took a deep breath in and as you can guess... Dad came out!

Oh, I Praise you LORD!

We just got off the phone with him... he said, "Hi Em...my!" Oh tears filled my eyes! I can't even begin to describe the JOY that burst forth in my heart! Of course each of my children had to call him... then my husband... Chas recognized and said everyones name!

I just feel to the floor on my knees... Oh! Praise you Jesus! Precious Jesus! Praise You! Now I am speechless!

Thank you again sweet prayer warriors! I will be forever grateful to you! If there is anything I can do to pray for you all please let me know... I would be honored!

Emmy, thank you for sharing the awesome miracle update on Chas.
You can pray for me, my mom and my sister as we leave early in the morning for NYC. My mom has always wanted to go there (so have I) but just pray for our safety and that we'll have favor with God and man.
I treasure and try not to take for granted these good times with my mom.
I'm so happy for Chas and for your family! It's a pleasure to pray for your family.
God is good....all the time!!!
Love,
Valerie

"God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28) We have seen what the love of God can do firsthand - the power of prayer - and what faith in God can do. The love of God that you and your family have inspires me. You, as my friend, is something special. I'm sure I'll need your prayers and am counting on them when I do need them. Kerin

You "are" someone special, not "is" - I clicked before I checked my verbage. Kerin

Emmy, what a wonderful praise. These things are so very hard to understand, yet we know that all things work together for those you love the Lord....
15 years ago I went through a similar time with a little surrogate grandson of mine who had been critically injured in an auto accident. It was a hard time with all of the uncertainty of the outcome, etc Believe me, when I say that I know what your family is going through! Your little Chas is making wonderful progress! The Lord has been gracious to your family in sparing him.

If you visit my blog, you might be interested in my blog about Nicolas, who has come so far back from the life threatening injuries he suffered as a two year old.

Thinking of all of you.

Hi Emmy. I wanted to thank you for your prayers for our trip to NYC. We had such a wonderful time and loved every minute of it. It is pretty crazy there, but very interesting and so much to see and do.
We had God's favor, protection & blessings throughout our trip and made some awesome memories.
I just got home this evening but in the next day or two will post some pictures and write about the experiences.
Thanks again....
Love,
Valerie

Emmy,
I really appreciate your comment on my blog. If you have time keep reading this week for daily updates on other days of our trip.
God really did show us favor so many times. We just happened to come to the Ed Sullivan Theatre where Late Night with David Letterman is and we took some pictures and then we walked closer and it said the box office was open. I'll write more, but we ended up getting tickets and were on the 5th row of the center seats!
Other things happened like that too.
Thanks again for praying. It was really awesome.
Is Chas still continuing to improve? I think about him often.
Talk to you later.
Happy Easter to you too!
Love,
Valerie
